Khalil has been practicing in the Middle East for five years. He specialises in UAE corporate and commercial matters and also handles English, French and European Union laws, in particular the conflict of laws, arbitration laws, contract and corporate laws, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and media laws and policies.
Khalil also has experience in domestic and international arbitration. He has been involved in drafting court submissions, preparing for pleadings and attending hearings. He has experience handling major corporate deals and international commercial and investment arbitrations before the major arbitration institutions, including ICC arbitrations seated in Paris and Geneva, CRCICA and the ICDR. He has previous experience with international firms in the UK and international courts in The Hague.
Khalil holds a BA in Law from La Sagesse University, Lebanon, a Masters of Law in Dispute Resolution
from the University of Paris – Sud, an LLM in International Business Law from University College London, UK, and a certificate in Comparative Media Law and Policy from the University of Oxford, UK. Khalil is admitted to the Beirut Bar Association and speaks English, Arabic and French.
