Lady Elizabeth Riesenburg is a member of our real estate, construction and arbitration team in Dubai. She has practised in the region for several years and has excellent knowledge and experience of the UAE legal system specialising in commercial, construction, infrastructure, energy and real estate.
Lady Riesenburg also has extensive experience in litigation, arbitration and ADR in various areas including civil and commercial law, construction and energy. She is skilled in drafting agreements and court pleadings and advising on commercial contractual issues. She also has extensive experience in managing arbitration cases, under DIAC, ADCCAC and ICC rules from inception to the issuance of arbitral awards, including drafting of pleadings, preparing expert evidence and attending hearings.
In addition to her UAE experience, Lady Riesenburg has in-depth knowledge of the US, French and UK legal systems meaning she can advise clients with operations in the UAE on cross border disputes involving other jurisdictions and vice versa.
Lady Riesenburg holds a Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from Private American University and an L.L.B with French Law (Hons). She is admitted to the Rolls of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, and also gained admission to the French Bar in Nice previously. Lady Riesenburg is fluent in English and French.
